His real names are Mulaza Kaira, but most people recognize him by his most popular moniker Macky 2. He is a rapper, singer and music producer who has successfully carved his own niche in the Zambian entertainment scene. With an interest in music that started from his childhood days, and a stellar appearance in the continental reality show Big Brother Africa where he finished as the second runner up for the season.

The rapper, singer and producer has since been busy churning out hits after hits and this was capitulated in 2013 when he received the award for the Album of the Year at the Zambian Music Awards. He also has a string of nominations and accolades for his music.

Not one to shy away from controversy or dispute, which has been mirrored on his timeline on his social media accounts, Macky 2 is a man who is unapologetic about his sound, and this trait has endeared him into the hearts of his teeming fans. But more endearing is his affinity for helping out the less priviledged in the society, as he laways finds time to indulge in some charity causes.  

Macky 2 will be in the hot seat with K’Chinga on this week’s episode of ZedTop 10 and we are anxious to see him bring us up to speed on his latest projects.
