Winning the 2016 music talent competition and getting mentored by USA RnB sensation Keri Hilson will be counted as some to be Tiwah Hillz’s musical career, but in fact the singer songwriter has been writing and composing her own songs since she was aged 13.

Born in the city of Lusaka in 1992, Tiwamyenji Phiri is the first of 4 siblings and she has enjoyed the support and love from her siblings and politician father and mother who is a nurse.

Tiwah Hillz has enjoyed so much acclaim from the release of her debut hit single ‘Beautiful’ which features RnB sensation Keri Hilson who coincidentally is her mentor. The debut single went viral almost immediately enjoying acclaim both locally and internationally.

With the promise of more stellar hits to come from one of Africa’s latest rising stars, we can only wait for the release of her new body of work, while humming the lyrics to Beautiful.  

Tiwah Hillz will be in the hot seat with K’Chinga on this week’s episode of ZedTop 10 and it will be interesting to hear her talk about how much her career has grown since her 2016 achievements.
