The self proclaimed “King of Zambian Rnb”, christened Fumbani Louis changaya was born on the 27th July 1988 in Lusaka, Zambia.

The producer, singer and songwriter started his music career with a group called street fame. The 4-man group frequently hosted and participated in several hip-hop dance-off events across Zambia but their big break came when they dropped a monster hit single titled ‘Chimodzi chili bad’ that got them heavy rotation on Zambian radio stations.

F-Jay blossomed into an RnB artiste while in college. He had been working on several tracks with a few friends and rapper Marvel who was so impressed with the quality of music they were making in the makeshift bedroom studio that he decided to take these tracks to his label, to So Good Entertainment. The label executives were also very impressed and they immediately offered F Jay a recording deal. He released a few songs under the umbrella of the label and the success of Official Love pretty much earned him his new moniker ‘The king of RnB’.

Currently the lead vocalist of the award winning three-man-group Urban Hype, the King of RnB is only getting warmed up as he rolls through the streets of Zambia in his range rover.

F-Jay will be in the hot seat with K’Chinga on this week’s episode of ZedTop 10 and we are anxious to see the King of RnB bring us up to speed on his latest projects and collaborative works.
