When did you start singing? I was really young and what happened was we were having Christmas and teacher wanted someone to sing ‘5 golden rings’ and since then my cousin and dad would sing. He plays the guitar and only this out in my teenage years. Music runs in the family on all sides of my family.

Have you ever performed before? If so, where? I’ve been part of the choir for the longest time. I’ve been a backing vocalist for the longest time.

What will you do with the prize money if you win Dreams? I’m thinking investments actually. I’ve been wracking my brain on what I can do with it and buy a bag and heels or two.

What makes you the best person to win Dreams? The ability to grow and I know each and every one has a unique voice and I have something to offer the world.

One word to describe how you feel right now: Scarexhillerating – scared and exhilarated at the same time.
